Hi Bnz, I do know Kirk. However, at this point in time, I am looking for something much more affordable than his rifles

They are around and do pop up but are usually snapped up quickly, they are still usually £900 upwards depending on condition. People look at Kirk's website and price accordingly.

C and G Firearms have a nice Smith Corona 1903-A3 on their website atm-it looks nice in the flesh as well as I had a look at it a few weeks ago when I was down there (if it was the same one!)
They also have one of the new Gibbs 1903-A4 snipers.

I had a brew with Kirk this afternoon. Hes o nly got a couple of Springields left and is not sure when he'll have more. Availability and price is based on what is available on the US market and allegedly scarcity and price are rising very quickly.....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
