Lurker emerges...

#1 Post by legs748 »

Hi all, Matt from Notts signing in.

I've been shooting since March, a childhood ambition finally realized. My main interest is coming from a military history point of view and would like an Enfield or two, and a Nagant, and a .308 with glass, and a .22........... You know how it is! I will mainly be shooting target disciplines at first, I'm an avid meat eater but really not sure if i could pull the trigger on a deer, although the idea fascinates me.

I am currently bored and frustrated, 12 weeks into Notts police proposed 20 week average lead time and still hearing nothing from them, apart from my bank statement showing them taking my money in the first week. Even more galling when my girlfriend got her SGC from south Yorkshire in four weeks.....

Anyway, that's me, I'm here to learn and have already read much of the forum and look forward to taking part.

Matt

Hi Matt

Welcome to the forum, it sounds like you've got all the usual suspects covered for calibres :goodjob: Every Englishman should have at least shot a .303 Lee Enfield :shakeshout: :good:

I see your Club is Lincoln, do you shoot at Reepham?

Alan

Welcome to the forum Matt and good luck with the application, I am mentally counting down the days until the Vikings ticket expires and the new one has not shown and she is told to lodge her guns with a friendly RFD...
