Not sure if this is the right place for this but - has anybody ever seen this before? & is it worth it - I do have a P14 & the Rearsight is not great. Cheers Hitchy

Not seen this particular make however there were many such sights released in the 1930's and 40's and even into the 50's. The Aussies produced some very fine sights that were even adopted albeit unofficially by the Australian Army.

This one is in what looks to be a very fine condition.

The Ebay description is quite accurate, made around 1947.

In "A Century of Sights and Sighting Aids" it says "Unfortunately the sight had little to commend it to the discerning shooter".

Well bugger me I won that for £51.50 only seen one before and it was rusted to hell.

Thought the sight collectors would have been all over that when you see some of the prices these types of sights are going for.

Pleased to have it in the collection at a "reasonable" price.

Now that is a good price. I gave up trying to collect sights ages ago when 5B's started to go over GBP200 on eBlag and everyone jumped on the boat and put a naught on the end of the price.
