'lo from the Forest of Dean

#1 Post by baconbuttie »

Hi all,

I've been lurking for a while ! Seeing a thread from ovenpaa about S Class has persuaded me to register. Shooting on a limited budget, this looks interesting :D

My shooting is mostly vermin/pest control and I'm a member over at Monmouth Rifle Club.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum. There is an S Class web site dedicated to the class and we have some inter club competitions next year plus a trial meeting start of next year (Date and location to be confirmed) We also have the postal comps side of things however I am yet to find someone who can do some targets that I can convert to .Pdf format.

There is a bit more here: http://sporting-class.com/

Thanks all.

David, I'll continue watching that site with interest. Looking forward to being able to compete next year.

Welcome mate

I will be competing in S-class with my trusty CZ 527 / 1:9 Factory barrel / and 69 grain somethings

My sneaky plot to dominate  is to :
1. Shoot in a Lime Green Mankini
2. Wear really old smelly rugby socks
All to distract all the shooters on the line whilst hoping my nasal plugs will protect me!

If that fails I will be tweaking nipples :o and licking ears! razz

Hey ask Dougan and Ovenpass - it worked at the Phoenix!

I would say I'll keep an eye out for you, but it sounds like you'll be fairly conspicuous :D

Savage 16 in 7mm-08 for me, but with the B&C stock in came in. Standard trigger, unknown scope mounts, and the scope is TBC. It's currently wearing a fixed 16x which might stay on if the handicap system is used, otherwise I'll see what I can dig up from the spares box or can find over Christmas.
