Greetings from Dorset

#1 Post by trs »

Hello everyone, I came across this forum and it looks like a good source of information. At the moment, my FAC application is with the police (well, I certainly hope it is) and I am waiting for their call to organise a cabinet inspection. At the local club, I am doing small-bore gallery rifle and prone rifle. Perhaps in the future I would like to expand into full-bore shooting, but that seems to be a pipedream as I do not particularly fancy travelling long distances just to use a rifle.

Cheers!

Welcome to another Dorset member

If you do fancy a bit of full-bore, many Dorset clubs use the MOD range at East Holme (about 4 miles on from Wool, if you're coming from Dorchester) - It's a very well kept and pretty 8 lane range, with points at 100, 200, 300 and 400...

...If you ever want to check it out, I could probably arrange for you to come as a guest on one of our club days next year (we shoot March to November).....
