.38 Nitro Muzzle Loading Pistol

#1 Post by leeroy7031 »

I have my Nitro muzzle loading pistol in .38 manufactured by Alan Westlake. This is was his flagship model with heavy square target barrel and target rib and light weight target trigger. Comes complete with press, powder (3/4 tub Herco), heads ( many hundreds) and over 600 primers. The cylinder was services by Alan this year due to a sticking firing pin which has now been resolved. The overall condition of the pistol is good, there is however some minor cosmetic damage to the cylinder head which was present when I purchased the firearm, this can only seen while the cylinder is split for loading and has no effect on the pistols use at all.

The cost to convert a pistol like this is £550, the target rib is a further £190 before trigger work and cost to buy the pistol in the first place.

This is a complete set-up ready to go for £600 ono. Can send via RFD at cost.

Lifes to short to count them all, 400 unopened wad cutters from midway, box of 200+ hardcast and soft lead wad cutters hence many hundreds, heads, projectiles, bullets, whatever you want them to be known as.
