Hi
I’ve been shooting for almost 50 years, started with an air rifle at 8 and progressed to a .410 shotgun at 14. Shot mostly shotgun from then on until the late 70s when I took up pistol shooting which I enjoyed until 97 when they took my pistols away from me. Almost gave up shooting then, just did a little clay busting until last year when it occurred to me that rifle shooting would be a good hobby for an old un. I got my FAC back and a black powder ticket in November (only took about 4-5 weeks) and have now acquired a Yugoslavian 7.92x57 M24/47 mauser, a Chinese Mauser lookeylikey in .22, a Section 1 pump action slug gun, a BP .577 Parker Hale 1861 Musketoon, a Pieta .36 1851 colt and a .44 Pietta Remington 1858, plus a couple of shotguns. Out of the possible 23 range days since November I have attended 20 (yesterday the range was closed due to snow) so I guess you can say I’m hooked. I also cast bullets or balls for all my guns accept the .22 and reload ammunition for the 7.92 and the slug gun.
Now I’m looking forward to learning loads of stuff from you guys.
Talk to you soon

Welcome Dave.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
