Southern Gun Co. AR-15 Lower Receiver (Stripped)
Hello all,
I have a Southern Gun Company AR-15 lower receiver for sale. Its the Mk6 solid billet aluminium model and is totally stripped. SGC want £282.31 for one, you can have mine for £150 + RFD fees + P&P
N.B. This is classed as a firearm in its own right and would need to be entered onto your FAC and a face to face or RFD to RFD transfer would be required.
Let me know if you're interested

Re: Southern Gun Co. AR-15 Lower Receiver (Stripped)
Basically when i bought an SGC Speedmaster it came with this lower receiver rather than the 'standard' American one. Later down the road i bought a .22lr drop in conversion and at the time the only magazines available were SGC's own (which i didn't like as they were 10/22 'banana' type and very expensive), and the Ceiner ones which didn't fit in this SGC lower receiver.
I therefore got a standard american one made by Mark Bradley using all of the internals from this lower to use ceiner mags, and that was the lower which was with the rifle when i sold it. This was about a month before the Black Dog mags came out, which looked and functioned much better than both the ceiner and SGC ones  After that i no longer had a 'good reason' to own the lower and its been sitting in my local RFD ever since. Just been in there today to buy some ammo and asked about it and it was bagged in a corner of the ammo/rifle room razz
Any other questions feel free to ask

So I'm guessing that the SGC lower isn't Mil spec then?

No, if I recall correctly Magpul Pmags were a tight fit on the same SGC Mk6 lower that I had and do not drop away freely when the mag release is depressed, H&K Mags work fine.

It is an in-house production so I don't think so, however GI mags worked just fine it it
