As above, I need one. Brownells is out of stock. Anybody have a spare or know where to source one from?

With a name like Techguy, can't you make one?

Have you tried Pete Starley?

After I turned one up for my BSN he told me ha had some! - No sorry, can't turn you one, only got one arm in use at the moment.

If I had a lathe I probably could, but I don't!

I'll get in touch with Mr Starley, and see if he has any, thanks!

Pete is on this forum as pjstarley

I bought myself a small lathe as a retirement present, not being trained in the use it was a very steep learning curve.

The pin was the first useful thing I made.

Good luck with the search.

These guys may have something to tide you over, or send a pm to Ovenpaa?

I learnt how to use lathes at school, and then when I worked in an engineering company for a bit. I still fancy getting a micro lathe and mill. One day!

I've PM'd Pete on the UKPSA forum as I didn't realise he was on here too!

If you have the exact dimensions of the front pin, I'll see if I can get one made if I can't get hold of a new one.

Cheers, TG

Sorry, I don't have the measurements, the gun is at Bisley, as is the 'spare' pin, and I'm marooned in Plymouth.

I do remember that it is slightly tapered and has a locaing groove at one end. It took me two attempts to get it near right.

I have since learned to make drawings of the bits I turn if only to save the batteries in the calipers

About six months later my wife said, "What is this for?" holding up the original pin which was under the microwave in the kitchen.

She has never been too keen on me cleaning my bits in the kitchen sink!

Mail me the dimensions if you are stuck.

Thanks ovenpaa... I might struggle to get accurate dimensions as the front and rear pins are different sizes :(

You have lost the pin then? is there no way to use the other pin for some of the other dimensions and measure the rest?

Yup, it's gone. Somewhere on the range at Shield!

I'll take the trigger group out tonight and my calipers and see if I can work out something reasonable!
