If at all possible could any long range f-class and tr shooters check back through there old score cards and post there misses ie non v-bulls.
I would like to know if you missed a wind call or because of vertical ( elevation).
If at all possible could you also list calibre(f-class) and bullet.
This info is just to satisfy one of my pet theories.
900 yds and longer please.
Can you also state what type of target you were shooting at.
Regards
Essexboy

Re: Info required from f-class and tr shooters
I'd be very interested to hear what you think this is going to tell you other than to give you a rough indication as to whether people are losing shots to elevation or wind. (NB - People throw lots of shots sideways too, as any good windcoach will tell you ;-)essexboy wrote: This info is just to satisfy one of my pet theories.
Cheers,

PS - I've spent a lot of time in the past doing very detailed analysis of plots (every single of GB's shots from the 2007 Palma Match, for example) in Excel. It's very dull but can tell you interesting things.

Without the correct info i cannot calculate if my theory is right. There is no hidden agenda etc,

Its an odd exercise unless you know the details for the particular point that was being fired from and ground fired over to be fair chap.
Verticals can have many causes, firer induced (Light, position, hold etc etc) or topographical (wind forced upwards by ground during a gust so round goes with it) or side gust induced vertical.
Or just a dodgy bullet
Unless you knew the exact details for each string of shots your data could mean anything.
And since when has a non V bull been a miss.
A few weeks back on stickledown 4s were niec to have :cool2:
