Re: First Rifle
I thought you might like it! It's from Suffolk Rifles, but he could do with more people showing interest as the company that does the work wants to sell them in batches of 5. The closer we can get to that number the more likely I can have one...

Re: First Rifle
I saw a Mini 14 in the window at Fultons at the weekend and was strangely drawn to it too. I wonder if it'd be an inexpensive good way in to civ service rifle? The chap behind the counter reckoned it would fit in the rules. I'm a lefty though :/

Re: First Rifle
Exactly my thoughts a cheap option into f/b shooting, and I suppose if bought cheap enough you will probably recoup money spent.
Seen a tactical stock for the 14 which will give it that tac look, but it all depends on what your willing to throw at it, I know acuracy is a topic, but at the price ive found I couldnt say no, also easy to strip and rebuild

Re: First Rifle
It would be cheap but they are junk and just aren't competitive.mackie wrote:I saw a Mini 14 in the window at Fultons at the weekend and was strangely drawn to it too. He's right about that.John MH wrote: It would be cheap but they are junk and just aren't competitive.
If you want a 'cheap' way into CSR probably better to get a bolt gun with a 10 round mag.
Re: First Rifle
I wouldn't say they are junk, just no use in straight pull configuration.....
