I am new to the forum but have had a certificate for ten years. I started shooting when I took up small bore pistol shooting back in 1980 at the OU Pistol Club. I lapsed for many years after leaving university but started collecting antique firearms, mostly revolvers, about 15 years ago. I had thought of getting back into pistol shooting in the 1990s but Dunblane put paid to that.
I got my grant of a certificate for a 1918 made Colt's 1911 semi-auto and Colt's 1900 semi-auto, to be kept as collectors items without ammunition at home. And haven't looked back since. I am a very keen collector of antique and vintage pistols. I shoot a lever action Marlin in 357, a Ruger 10/22 target, a reproduction of a Colt's 1860 Army revolver and I keep some pistols on section 7(3).
I am looking forward to contributing to the debates here.

A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools!!
