Need to check my FAC, but I know that pre-renewal I was specifically banned from having one of these within the conditions of my certificate

They were £175 from Viking Arms 3 years ago, now i think they're something like £350!!
As has already been said, they're novelty gun for a target shooter and nothing more, get a 10/22 Takedown if you're after a decent gun along the same lines

No problems Ovenpaa, there was no reason it came as standard. Avon and Somerset are notorious for placing restrictions on that over Constabularies simply do not do. It was standard for awhile that AR-7s weren't allowed without specific request, that has now gone. A friend of mine ad a .223 slot on his rifle but was again banned from buying a certain model without a specific request. We also for a time had to declare whether we wanted a bolt action or semi-auto if we applied for a slot in .22, they stopped that after 2 years.
They do, however, continue to enforce the ban on other shooters using an LBR without a slot on their cert.
The guy who runs the licensing department is generally regarded as being a bit of an arse, by shooters and employees alike (at least one FEO has all but been forcibly retired for disagreeing with him).
