Is anyone here shooting the .32/40?
Just curious, do we have any .32/40 shooters on the forum and if so any views on the cartridge?

Yes that and the 32/20 are fine cartridges much beloved of Schutzen shooters.

I know of two locally, both of whom shoot Winchester '94s.
Have been able to borrow one a couple of times and had good results.

I have an original Marlin in 32/40.
The biggest problem is getting brass.
30-30 brass converts easily and is about 1.5mm shorter.

The only disadvantage of shooting .32-40 in the UK is, because the caliber is off ticket, the rifles in it are expensive compared to the same model, in a comparable condition, in a S1 cal.
And Tony, I'm very jealous!

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
