He's just as bad in real life ;), seriously though you will have to check if he's still building .22's.

Mark is just very passionate about his sport which is no bad thing and he builds some superb rifles. He is also a very knowledgeable and decent person to speak to.

The club I belong to has a Lantac for use by the members as a club gun.
At least one of out members has a Lantac with all the whistles and bells I have had the opportunity to shoot it.
I have met the Guy that owns the company I found him to be friendly helpful and he seems like a OK guy. I have handled some off there other products on the range and was more than impressed. All in all good kit as far as I am concerned if I was in the market for this type of gun I would go Lantac.

Mark Bradley is one of the good guys, honest and trustworthy...at least that is my experience of the chap....

Ive owned and shot 4 diffrent m4 clones, they all jam up worse than a robinsons factory....spikes,armi jager,hk 416 and the very popular colt carbine (dunno even now who makes those) the bradley that my friend owns never jams (that ive seen) and its quality is second to none....

l have a Raven and it is a lovely piece of kit, whether the premium pricing over the CMMG is worth it is debatable as a lot of the Raven is CMMG bits. Saying that l would not give my Raven up. Paul at Lantac is very helpful and stands behind his products as l had an issue with mine and he resolved it with no question.

l have shot the S&W and whilst fully functional it is far too light and does not feel right. l believe the lower is not milspec and cannot be changed out with milspec uppers.

I have also shot the Sig 522, which l know is not an AR 15 but is worth considering as it is a nice reliable rifle.

For optics try a Burris AR 332 as it is a great optic and looks the part, although you need to get it from a German supplier.

I have a BAR.22 and also have some Lantac Parts, both are good quality. The BAR is assemble from VLTOR, CMMG and Accuracy Speaks parts, the Lantac lower is of german design and origin and well made. The quality of the rifle you end up with is the sum of its parts and the skill and care put into assembling it. BAR.22s are not being made at the moment so if you want quality parts you are probably looking at a Lantac.

Mark would be marketed as WYSIWYG is he was a computer program,

He is as straight as you get and whilst that may offend some I love it and would much prefer if more people were like that....

I'd suggest the CMMG and add / replace parts as you wish.

Salut ,

I depends what you want to do with it really .

To have fun at beween 25 to 50 meters, get all the functions of an AR, the SW15-22 is more than adequate. As mentioned before it is both reliable & accurate... Actually , it is quite perfect for the job but the weight differential with a mil-spec 223R.

If you want a 22lr to drill seriously AR15 shooting on the cheap then I'd go for a basic CMMG that you can kit-out yourself to mirror precisely your 223R AR.

I do not know your finances but the above will already cost you about 600 and 900. One would argue that when you buy a CMMG you get 1 1/2 rifle since you can use it with a 223R upper.

It is a very personal opinion & choice but I would seriously question the logic of spending any more on what at the end of the day will remain only a .22 clone. A lot of those super-dupper 22's make me think of re-sprayed VW kitted with go-fast stickers and alloy wheels that will never see a racing-track.If you want to do match points , well, don't get an AR , get a match rifle.
