Wanted Schmidt Rubin K31
I am looking for a K31 Schmidt Rubin in very good condition. It must be original and have matching serial numbers, good bore and woodwork.

Good luck! The woodwork on the vast majority of k31s is dog eared almost by definition, up until a couple of months ago Andy allwood would have been your man, a lot of his stock went to auction so there might be some turning up at dealers, or you could call into Bisley during one of the big comps.

Kranks bought the majority of Andy's K31's at the auction for circa £140 each so that would be my first port of call.

Hmm apparently the K31 is "rare" now! tongueoutDanTheMan wrote:Kranks bought the majority of Andy's K31's at the auction for circa £140 each so that would be my first port of call.

I don't really do "mil surp". In fact, I've only ever "owned" one, a SMLE. Bought it, and before it left the dealers, I sold it on to a mate. But, recently, I've really fancied one of these...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
