I just had a look at Hannams price list at primers.
CCI standard £55 a k,Remington standard £45 a k,Federal standard £37 a k.
I was in there a couple of weeks back looking for Federal large rifle match much to their amusement!
Any other wholesalers importing Federal?
Or any one got some they want to pass on?
Can do a swap.

Spoke to Hannams on Monday (9th Sep '13) re Federal primers; they had them, but in the 8 days since their web price list had been posted (it was dated 1/9/13) their Fed primers had gone from £37-odd up to £43-odd per thousand; they claimed their web price list was "out of date"!

I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions on this one (but I didn't buy any primers from them).

Have a hunt round your local RFDs, not all are putting the price of existing stock up just because they can. I got 10 thousand large rifle and several thousand small rifle and large pistol primers from Dodgyrog at a very good price (under £30/1000) about 2 months ago, don't know if he has any more though.

Roger Bill at Bromsgrove (Sporting Supplies) reckons he is having a hell of a job trying to get them in.

Just found 1000 PPU primers at a shop off the M6.
Anyone use them?

I recently bought 2000 fed large pistol from Rude Fat Dog who had only just got them in,i got these at £35 a 1000.To be honest i was expecting them to be a little dearer considering the recent problems but happy at the price as it was the same as the last lot i bought.
