Those would be the recreated WW1 Trenches at the Staffordshire Regiment Museum, i was standing there this morning, It measures around 100 yards long and does have a underground section, they were built around 2001 on the site of the demolished married quarters and are undergoing restoration this month. It's where i do a lot of my WW1 reenacting, I'm often found down there wearing a itchy green serge uniform and a tin hat shooting a SMLE or a lewis gun at others wearing itchy grey uniforms carrying mausers and maxims. If you look at the fields to the left of heath avenue just above the recreated trenches you can see crop marks in a greek key formation, these are filled in ww1 period practice trenches used in training. I have attached a picture of the machine gun emplacment operating during one of the museums evening trench tours.
