Hi guys - sign85
anyone got one of these or knows who imports them please...i heard that Brian Fox had stopped importing MR rifles and i've only ever seen the the 22lr version in the UK?
i was after a decent 22wmr semi - was also thinking about an ERMA M1...? what would you guys recommend if you've had (or heard) horror stories from any of the above...?
many thanks
Jon

Salut ,
My 1st firearm was a Erma M1. I have owned it since I was 15 yrs old and still shoot it from time to time. Some parts are made from zamac, so on paper the EM1 is fragile. The stock was good when I got it but is a tad short. The peep sights are very nice. The barrel is threaded for a silencer. There is a good range of 5, 10, 15 rounds mags. Those are expensive but are plenty full in Germany at a correct prices. Touch wood... mine has shot 1,000's and 1,000's of rounds and always cycled perfectly all typs of ammo I fed it. I never took it appart, just cleaned the barrel and the chamber + firing pin with brushes and tooth picks (...) and it keeps on firing...
Until a part break I would highly recommand it as a near perfect plinking rifle

many thanks for all the replies guys :)
i don't think that i will be able to get a magnum research 22wmr in the UK without importing one at great expense ...however i have had a few recommendations for an ERMA in 22wmr - and apparently not bad accuracy wise either?
