2013 F Class Euros

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

A big well done to the Great Britain Open and F/TR teams for both taking Gold medals on the Sunday. I was there for the Saturday and the weather was for the most quite reasonable however it did have a bit of a sting on occasion.

Good to see some of our forum members doing well including a few who were shooting the Euros for the first time. :goodjob:

it was bloody difficult :) I did come off worst of us I think, but still enjoyed it and did achieve my goal of not coming last...

I need to fix the elevation issues I am having, so new bipod will be handy when it is ready :)

A bit of a sting! A bit of a sting! Did you get a chance to step out of that nice marque for the last squading

Well done team GB!

(And the event organisers) :goodjob:

Had a great time, met some great people (and beat some of them - not too many though  ) totally recommended!

A big thanks to Tim for all his hard work over the last few months in helping us not come last.... Roll on the next comps  bangbang

How big is a Euro ? What range were they shooting at ? It sounds like pretty good accuracy to us...

Forgot about this - didn't Tim win it last year?

Well done to those who won, and those who gave it a go for the first time :good:

Will the results get posted on the NRA web site?

One word.....

Hardcore!!!

Funny though, the 1000yard target does not quite hold the fear it used to. You have to practice in the wind.

I found myself so wired in the last 2 shoots I barely had time to scribble on the plot sheet, I was too busy watching the flag poles bend.

I ambled home at about 50 on the back roads listening to Pink Floyd.

No point shooting well on some and badly on others though, consistency is the thing.

Distances were 800/900/1000 F class targets, 2+15 with the exception of the last shoot which was 2 + 20.

the same for 2 days, team shoots on day 3.

Matt, by all accounts it may be that the mad one was booted off the range by the RCO for missing both sighters....Tim's guess but it would fit mate.
