scope or info wanted

I need a new/second hand scope for my .308. Fixed or variable power, I plan on using it out to 300ish yard targets but also for some deer stalking. Around the £250 mark.

Using 'Chinese scopes' as a search gets you into all previous forum discussions on the subject of budget scopes.

To be honest - I'd pick a Chinese over a Pecar anyway. That new 8-32 Chinese scope from Fox Firearms is a stunner for £110!

Optics have moved on such a lot over the past 20-30 years - even Chinese ones. I have one of the old Weaver T16 scopes - steel body, target turrets etc - a class leader in its day but against modern glass............

Take a look at my Falcon in the for sale section........fresh off my LRS 308, and built like a tank.
