First rifle ... Bought !
A brno mod 2 in .22lr .. Made in 1992 .. Pretty good condition, paid £150 ..
Gonna put the scope from my air rifle on it (a hawke 3-9x50) which I'm hoping will handle .22lr .
Can't wait til the club opens again next week !
I'm considering the following
oil finishing the woodwork
Getting a trigger kit (the trigger is ok but I'm fussy !)
Free floating the barrel
Opinions on the above ?

Did all that and more to mine.
Chopped barrel and rethreaded it. Eric Brooks trigger. Acraglas bedded. Machine turned bolt. And more that I've forgotten.
Great little guns...last forever.

I had a replacement trigger fitted to my .22 by Dave Wylde of Valkyrie rifles ....TRANSFORMED it! Sooo much better.

The best scope you can use on .22 rf is a springer rated air rifle scope which will adequately handle the rf recoilzzr1100 wrote:Is the hawke 3-9x50 going to handle .22rf ?
