The discipline is getting more popular and the November Course was also oversubscribed. I’m sure there will be more just keep a look out on the NRA website or ask them to put you on the waiting list.

Just a quick update i am now a NRSA club probationer as well, i was accepted to a local club to shoot indoors .22 and they also shoot gallery rifle and have a full bore section.
I now have the first of my three NRA probation shoots under my belt.
The cost for this was quite reasonable i think ,£25 range fee for half a day, £5 rifle hire and £12.5 for 20x.308 rounds.

I have just completed the second of the three compulsory shoots. I booked a left handed rifle from the NRA for the session, when I signed in no left handed rifle and one right handed rifle short but many thanks to Chris one of the RCOs he lent me and another shooter his Sako TRG with S&B scope.Although it was a right handed rifle and it was only 300 yards I have never shot so well. For the last few rounds I was shooting a Rangemaster rifle, after removing the Cheek adjuster bolt from the stock, again a very accurate rifle but you can really tell the difference in the quality of scopes comparing it to the S&B I had used earlier in the day it was not even close to the S&Bs clarity and brightness. Again thanks to Chris for the use of his rifle.
