Posting of negative comments in the Gunshop section could bring unwanted criticism on the forum, having said that it is important to let members know if dealings with a Gunshop were less than ideal for you. To that end we will allow what will be known as the 'Scotsgun Ruling'

The Scotsgun Ruling:

>Add Gun Shop here<

"As I've yet to have a 'positive' experience there, I'll refrain from commenting further."

Beyond that please take it up with the Gunshop, if you do resolve the issue in a agreeable manner let us know!

Musto

#1 Post by Alpha1 »

Not exactly a gun shop but in 2008 I bought a Musto keepers jacket I like it a lot and use it for all my shooting activities. I broke the main zip on the Jacket and was quoted stupid prices to replace it. I emailed Musto their reply was send it to us we will replace the zip and post it back to you for £32.00. Excellent service. I am well chuffed. I just need to scrape the mud of it now and stick it in the post.

Check your pockets for any empty cases or, heaven forbid, live rounds before posting!!!

Musto have always been good with the servicing for their yachting kit, which is quite decent too.
Careful now/that sort of thing

When I told the wife I was sending it to be repaired she immediately took the jacket from me put it on a clothes hanger and went through every pocket. Don't think she trusts me don't know why.

Not a bad price ...

I told you they would sort you out.

I am well chuffed my jacket arrived in the post this morning not only have they fitted a new zip but they have replaced all the toggles and elasticated draw strings. They phoned me up to let me know it was in the post and told me that there would be no charge for the repair and return postage.
Considering I have had the jacket since 2008 I think that's out standing service.

The wife looked the jacket over and gave it the thumbs up being a ex seamstress that's high praise indeed. I think I should pop it in the washing machine she said and it will look like a new coat. NO sign01
