Mark, those Geco and S&B look to be the same type of construction I use with the slugs I get from Siarm ie. no wad cup.

I am using the Geco coated slugs and very happy with them.

Cut shells are not a new idea..

I have a Penguin paperback book which suggests their being a good antidote for any sudden ourbreak of German paratroops.

So, the basic principle is to slice through the case and this then departs downrange taking the shot with it as a big lump? Why don't the shot depart on their own, followed to a lesser distance, by the case ?
