Good luck, I tried and failed to find one under £150! There are some decent ones around £200, one or 2 members on here have them available for that price, thought it depends what your plans are for it.

My current one i use for gallery rifle cost me £70,other than a kid barrel and thumbhole stock and a little play with the trigger it is a stock ruger and runs almost flawlessly.Another guy i know got his for £80 again works fine, they are out there but i know what you mean i've been watching the market for a wee while.

They just seem to carry such a premium over here at the minute, it's almost half the price to import a new one than buy here!
I do hope you find one, if you find 2 £70-ers let me know ;)

Been looking myself for a donor action for months. Nothing within what I thought was an accept price range. As said, the days of bargain 10/22's are perhaps over....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Does it have to be a Ruger? There are plenty of cheap (<£100) semi-autos on guntrader at the moment.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.
