Imperial Sizing Wax
Can i use sizing wax for neck sizing cases?
If so how do you apply it?
just pushing the case neck into the wax seems to to use excessive amounts, so should i just be applying a smidgen with my fingers?

Re: Imperial Sizing Wax
You don't need to lube the necks for neck sizing only.
The best way to apply the wax and other such case lube like Hornady Unique (just as good if not better and a lot cheaper) is as you suggest touch of the fingers and lube the case but you only need this for full length resizing not neck sizing.

I have started using Hornady Unique good stuff and cheap as chips. I only use it for full length sizing as Adam said you don't need any lube for neck sizing only.
Re: Imperial Sizing Wax
Hmm,
I need to have a look at my die me thinks as it feels as though the cases are sticking hence me wondering if i should lube the necks.

Re: Imperial Sizing Wax
I tend to use ISW for neck sizing as well as full length sizing.
Re: Imperial Sizing Wax

Re: Imperial Sizing Wax
I have a Hornady neck die that is tight I dip my necks in graphite powder when using this die.
