I was planning to only shoot at 100m, so I took Tomas along along with the Destroyer (9mm Largo) for him and the 257 and Carcano for me. This was the first he had been to Cawdor and the first time he'd shot the Destroyer at 100m. Shooting off a sandbag, he was consistently hitting a fig 11 sized target - not bad considering he was aiming off and shoots left handed. I just might have to get him his own rifle.
I on the other hand was just doing some testing. The 257 now has the flash hider from a FN FAL on it (temporary measure and because I could!

The Carcano shot well but was playing silly buggers and not feeding from the en-bloc clips.

I need to find out what the problem is and sort it because it's a fun rifle and shoots standard 6.5mm bullets pretty well. Today I was using 110gn PPU bullets over 30gn of Varget which did the job once I got the sights sorted and worked out where to aim off.
All in all a pretty good day, looking forward to the next one in April!
