Markings M98 Preduzege 44 seems like a russian capture one with the lighter wood stock

What type of mount is that. Did you fit it.

It was on when I bought it was going to take it off but kept it on for longer distance due to eyesight lol

The markings "Preduzege 44" & the type of hand guard would suggest your mauser is a M98/48 made mainly of german parts but refurbished by Zastava for the Yugoslavian army. Nice :good:
