They are invariably running late so you dont get time to pee (or feed icecream to Daves dogs).
League matches usually only do 3 distances per day, do doing 6 is a bugger if you try.
My way of seeing it is do the shorter distance in the afternoon (it was like a washing machine last year) and the long range AM on the sunday.
This way I can hang around the shooting shed and put customers off like a podgy scarecrow
Last year we were all on time for the first round down the range, only to see the markers arrive when the first round should have gone and start ambling up to the butts.
We stood there and watched the wind slowly pick up....Grrrrr
Ah well, it was the same for all of us.
Could be worse, at one comp the RO confided that we had better get on with it as he did not understand our rules :cool2:
