Ever considered a German T-Gewhr?

They do come up for sale every now and again and are usually less that 8k. They are also classed as Section58.

Just remember the Germananual for it

It is recommended that the firer should be changed every 3 or 4 rounds as excessive firing can cause bleeding from the eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

Now if that doesn't sound like a good time then what does ;)

They are rare , but do come up from time to time....the main issue seems to be finding an example that hasn't been converted into .50 cal.

I had a good look at one last year....its a proper rifle.... weighs a ton....very long.... and looks like a harpoon gun!

Very interesting Anti tank rifles with the build of a JCB.....can you imagine being part of a two man team firing this monster in among the German tanks......NO THANKS!!
