I've tried the Lyman slug and a fair old lump it is but i found it a tad too wide for the wads i had and wouldn't shoot anyway near point of aim with my shotgun.There's a guy at the club who casts lee ones and these are spot on in the wads,i found the 1 oz'ers shot low as well but the 7/8 oz'ers shoot about spot on for me.You may have to try them to see what works for you.

Nothing's changed in a year, Chris.

Except saddler is a little bit fatter and a lot more miserable....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

....and SimG's missus is even hairier than before: makes the Eurovision winner look like a poster boy for Gillette razors

STILL use the Lyman sabot slug...as do a few others in the PSG clubs I shoot at.
Nobody has any issue with them as long as you choose a wad they fit in...
