As I've yet to have a positive experience of the SPCA (or the RSPCA) I'll not comment on their involvement!!

Pity about the abandoned piggles. I hope they get good homes soon!

Down below 60 here now. A good few of ours are over 5 years of age now.
Oldest is about 8

Mine unfortunate succumbed to illness and died at 5 years of age. She had a tumour removed at 3 years of age so I like to think I gave her an extra 2 years!

Taught her a few tricks too, she understood commands to spin in a circle, stand up on her hind feet, jump onto my lap and down again. I wasn't expecting that from a guinea pig!
