How about the pump action Winchester 1890? They can be found at a vary reasonable price. I've used a few over the years and they are terrific fun.

There's always room for another rimfire in the collection. Choosing just one to acquire is even harder than choosing which ale to buy.

Lever action. Marlin 39.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

We like the CZ512 but a friend has one so we were thinking of something different...

Vintage Winchester 1890s - and even the later Model 62s - are pretty scarce - but Amadeo Rossi made a copy of the Model 62 for a number of years that may be easier to get hold of. I have one in stainless and I love it. Brings back childhood memories of visiting shooting galleries at the county fair.

I have always liked the Browning take down, reasonably priced in used condition and you can still buy them new.
