I bought 2 S&W mags and the parts didn't really line up very well, there was excess plastic where the bolt pics up the next round (U slot), once filed down they worked fine. Possibly not your problem, but whilst you're looking around it's worth double checking.

What mags are you using? I heard that the CMMG mags can cause problems.

Thanks for all the help people, a lot the grief ive been getting is mostly down to the 10 round mag I bought, it sits to high in the gun, when I pull the bolt back and let go, on the way forward the bolt is hitting the metal feed lips on the mag and stops it from closing, so I have stopped using the mag and ive put the jp springs back in and the rifle is working a hell of a lot better than it did, im still getting the odd fail to feed but nothing like it was.
When I got the springs I didn't thing they would have made that much of a difference, but i can, they're great and id recommend them to anyone.
Once again people thanks for the help sorting my rifle out.
