I'm just under 6ft and find the lop fine but I've long arms so can see the point.
IMO open class is where it's going for psg as people realise that it's more of a shooting competition rather than a reloading one.

Re: Bora 99 : Am I missing something?
I've just been told that Steve Pike has the BR99 in. Shield is only a hour or so away for me so I think a visit will be in order.
I'm also told he's good for a bit of fettling on a 10/22 which I need doing as well.
Result.

Re: Bora 99 : Am I missing something?
You can shorten the length of pull with some imagination however it involves building a new internal spacer and reducing the profile of the butt pad. Time consuming but certainly doable.
Re: Bora 99 : Am I missing something?
I can understand the need to re-profile the butt pad but what does an 'internal spacer' do for you?
Would it be simpler to wait for these new lowers?

Re: Bora 99 : Am I missing something?
The butt pad hooks into the inside of the top of the butt and has a screw in the bottom. Once the back end of the stock is shortened these features are missing hence the need to fabricate something suitable to hold the pad in place.

Thanks Ovenpaa. Sounds very do-able. It could be the best option for me.
I tried the Hatsans for size at the weekend. The youth model was just a little small standard and the full size Escort was definitely too big. I probably need something around 13" LOP.
Thanks for the advice everyone.
