Right boys & girls, has anyone ever bobbed there hammer ? and if so how do you know how much to take off ?

keep grinding metal off until the bolt no longer re-cocks the action......then put a little bit back on again.

If what ive read is right, bobbing your hammer is removing a chunk of it, so how can you put some back on ?

Nice one, clapclap, I used to have a smiley that gave the finger, but cant find it on my laptop, have any of you got one. lol

I wouldn't do it at all unless you also fit a very strong hammer spring , even the standard setup can deliver light strikes with some ammo irrespective of how clean it is.
