Don't click on that link it appears suspect it takes you to page that you cannot get out of unless you close the tab, back buttons don't work and trying to load another page won't either, very dubious and at best anti social..
There's nothing "suspect", "dubious" or "anti-social" about it whatsoever (the back button works fine on Firefox & Chrome on Windows & Android & on Internet Explorer - there's nothing to stop navigating away - suggest you look at what's wrong with your computer before blaming other's content). But if you don't like to use url shorteners you can click this link:

Did the shooters get caught in the thunderstorm this afternoon. We are about 7-8 miles away and it was hoseing down up here.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

I take as I find, I use Firefox and all else works well other than that page that is my experience with my PC, my laptop and the my wifes laptop so I still say it is suspect and still advise not using it

Mind you if I'd known it was facebook from the original link I wouldn't have clicked it anyway, something suspect and dubious about hiding the url as well.

Great to see Mick Gault has won his 18th Commonwealth medal by taking bronze in the 10m pistol event.

Well done Mick!

Its not suspect - its a genuine way of making long links short for use on social media. I use it often for the work Twitter pages.

Have spent nearly all day following the action on Twitter and Facebook who have done a FAR better job than the BBC and I couldn't care less if you GOM don't like social media as I want to follow my friends in one of the most important events of their lives and Twitter and Facebook are the ONLY way I can do it!

Ok, there'll be no more 'suspect' news of CG shooting from me. Goodbye.
