The only tip I can give is go shoot and talk to the guys and girls on the range, and seeing as you've already competed in the winter league I guess I'm a bit late with that. Good on you.

I did take part in a few instances of the winter league match, but must admit had to go through a sharp learning curve. Have been attending the club shoots in Bisely regularly. Hoping this year will be better. The tips/advices/help that I usually get from the fellow experienced shooters in Bisley have been very helpful.

I was born in the eastern state of Odisha. Grew up in various places there, including some of the remotest parts as dad used to have a transferable job in state govt. Did my higher studies from Bombay, worked for sometime in Delhi and Bangalore before moving here. smile2

Goa, up around Candolim and Baga.I love the place as the people are so friendly and there is always something new to see, just when you think you've seen it all something else blows you away........and the food is fantastic, had some amazing street food and the sights and smells of all the fresh spices in the local markets is something I'll never forget.We were there in 20011 when India beat Pakistan in the semi-final of the cricket world cup and the atmosphere was amazing and the whole place went ballistic when India won, I'm not really a cricket fan but you couldn't help getting swept up in it all.......especially after a few bottles of Kingfisher!!! :cheers:
