Pedersoli Quigley in 45 x 3.25" aka 45/120 - barrel hand lapped. One of the early models which has the long leade suitable for paper patch bullets.

Full length 6x Malcolm Scope (Leatherwood) with target rear mount - full windage and elevation adjustment. Also spare basic mount which is elevation only.

Long Range tang sight

Full set of dies including neck resizer and taper crimp dies

100+ cases - Bell manufacture (recently annealed)

Total cost new over £3000

That is, to my mind, a thing of beauty......
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

And me ! So much so I brought one and shoot it with black powder , such fun !

Although I don't have one of them new fangled glass sights......

Ive owned two Pedersoli 1874's previously and regret letting each one go.....

I hope there's something special lined up to replace it.

And I know of a Lee Shaver .22LR conversion tube going for a song too. I have one, good cheap practice. 300 yards with .22 is about the same as 1000 yards with elevation and wind effect. Great fun when you turn up at the local .22 indoor target range, pull this out of the case and say (with a straight face) "OK to shoot this here.....?"
