Assuming you've replaced the o-ring on the piston and it's in the correct place? Not on the end before the cap like some suggest?

O ring is installed to stop gasses going forward along the mag tube? Inside the housing attached to the barrel. As my descriptive English fails me...

That's the one, apparently it can cause issues cycling if it's installed incorrectly.
If it's like the normal escort it goes on before the barrel and sits at the end of the bit that goes around the mag tube, if that makes any sense at all :-)

And the ports now have less swarf and are a bit bigger....
