Yes, but don't forget to add the rail, screws and anything else you may want to bolt on in the future. It all adds up!

Once you get into PSG you'll keep on finding things you want/need to do to it. Many of these mods and additions can have a bearing on reliability.

May be small, but they take a lot of punishment.
They are actually designed to be fitted on the slide of pistols, and there are some dedicated shotgun mounts available.

Having actually thought about this, you do realise that putting a red dot on your M2 will put you in Open division don't you? i.e. against box mag guns and people with speed loaders?

M2 can be competitive in open division, but you'll need it modified for speedloaders.
