Gunshots in the fog !

Outside it's a cold, damp, foggy day but we're sitting all warm and comfortabubble in our Sheffield sett, sipping tea and communing with the great and good on this 'ere forum. Borne on the still, moisture laden air, we can hear the sound of gunfire, generally two deep, rumbling shots at a time, 20 or 30 seconds apart: thus we think it's a clay shoot.

WHERE ?

We don't know of a local clay shoot, and the sound could be carrying a long way in these conditions...

We're intrigued.
