Lyman bullet mould required

#1 Post by falco67 »

I have been looking to obtain a Lyman mould reference number #575213PH. This mould casts a .575 566 grain bullet

The only UK source I can find is Midway UK at £98. I am lead to understand that this company is a tad expensive :o

Could anyone suggest an alternative source?

I have tried some bullets cast with this mold and they suit my Parker Hale musketoon very well :good:

$71

Google the part # then search in US based sites, then look on Ebay - then go on the CastBoolits site & see if anyone is doing a double cavity version for about the same price.

At $59 they will ship to UK by Fedex for $35, so £59 delivered. That's a definite improvement.

I'll give Hannams a ring tomorrow, but I can't see it listed on the website.

There is a #575213 that casts a lighter bullet on E-Bay and I'm still looking through the Castboolits site.

There are no Minie GBs on Cast boolits at present.

Could be worth seeing what Tom at Accurate Moulds can do for you. At least there you will be sure to get a mould that drops to specification, the past few years Lyman moulds have gone to pot. Worn cherries giving undersize moulds amongst other woes.

Vat is charged when goods reach the value of £16.00 then it applies to the total cost "postage included"

Think a Lyman mould cost me £74.00 + Shipping from Hannams a couple of months ago....
