I know the 2 photos he means.

I dont know how to answer as I dont know what he means by answer to IS !!!

What has target shooting in the UK got to do with terrorism ?

I wonder if he has an issue with the firearm - maybe it looks too military ?

Or maybe he finds the clothing objectionable ?

Maybe its the mag pouches ?

Surely it cannot be my stylish hat ?

My first assumption was that the author was one of those narrow minded people who feel that anything other than F class shot while wearing brightly coloured leather, is only done by "Japanese Generals". I was about to give him a robust response but decided to let him explain himself first in case I had wrongly assumed his reference and it was some sort of humour I just was not getting.

Oh sweet Jesus! Sorry lads been busy and did catch up on this till now. Me "Narrow Minded F Class" Tee Hee. No pal I will be at that shoot with you next time and buy you a beer after if I offended you. I'm usually RO'ing the Bianchi on Butt Zero at Pheonix or bashing steels with Sleepy next door. Last time on Butt Zero though was for the LBP Practical! I'm about as far from narrow minded F Class shooter as my NRA Membership allows.

I just thought what you wore and shot was rather strikingly politically incorrect for the NRA and perhaps suggests a bit of change there. As for being the UK answer to IS .... Well nobodies coming up with better answers!

I praise and laud you natty apparel!

On a side note I had a good look at the Bora last night and was struck by its excellent value!

Ahhhh - now I am glad I did not assume the worst and jump in with a robust retort ****

I will gladly accept the beer but I really think you could stretch to a double Bushmills waveirishflag

As for the un-PC clothing - I actually thought I was making an effort to avoid the military clothing they mention in the regs. That's why I chose a civilian pattern of camo.

I will confess though that it did bring out a few surprising comments ( not here ) - even one from a shooter who had only just finished berating someone else on another forum for his comments about shooting clothing. Yet decided he was lost for words when it came to my choice !!

It happens to be what I use for deer stalking as its warm waterproof fleece. Its not a onsie though - I have to draw the line somewhere !! I also use it for CSR because due to it being a winter league including a few run downs and no shooting mats, mud, rain and coldness are the order of the day. So, I use it whenever shooting in cold or wet weather. I am not going to splash out on a separate outfit for each type of shooting I do.

Speaking of IS - they seem to favour the Ninja black look from head to toe. I wonder if we should consider adding black clothing to the PC list ?

Made me laugh too!

Good on you. I have a fairly serious wardrobe of Realtree too for Stalking. Was thinking about taking the Speedmaster out for a touch of CSR for the first time. I will know now how to dress appropriately.

Cheers!

So will countryman if he goes full realtree. I would suggest that his build will make him look like a mature oak rather than a sapling!
