Latest addition GSG STG-44

#1 Post by Demonic69 »

Did some dealings and came away happy with a new toy.
GSG STG-44 in .22lr, 2mags (one 25rd and one 10 that's now been upgraded to 25) and weaver scope mount.
Feels really solid and well made too.
Looking forward to trying it out!

That looks good!
Report back on accuracy please as this may be on my list.
Throw your hands up in horror but can you fit a scope?

Maybe you should get in touch with snaiperski and re-stage the battle of Barnsleygrad...

Have had mine for a while and impressed with accuracy off of the open sights. Actually held an original at the Warminster small arms collection a few weeks back and the GSG is a very good reproduction. Keep your hands away from the mag whilst shooting as it caused a few feed failures. Use Mini-mags with mine. Have had a Barska Mildot Electroscope on for a while using a UTG rail and then fitted the GSG rail but cheek weld is still a bit of a problem and now gone back to the open sights. Best GSG repro to date although havn't fired their MP40 yet. You can also fit a leather carry strap off of a K98 supplied from one of the re- enactor suppliers.

Nice one Zil. How many magazines do you have? How do you find them?

Be interested to know if you get a fail to feed on the last round. Mines started doing it recently.
The above post probably contains sarcasm or some other form of attempted wit, please don't take it to heart.
