1911 - How it works

#1 Post by User702 »

Ok, so not a picture or a film, but a series of very well done animated gifs showing how the classic 1911 works:

Good site.

I remember as a teenager I had a plastic replica of the Colt 45
and it was built in kit form and it was identical to the actual
real gun in every way. It has long been destroyed but
I remember building it and was impressed with all the safe
guards, locking mechanisms that were in place before the trigger
could be pulled.

Good site.
