Bora BR99 Parts

I see a few guys have got the BR99s, I've just acquired one and am wondering where or who does upgrade parts?

Depends which parts you want. The 2 main players are Tooth and Nail Armoury and Firebird Precision, but both are in the US so there is some cost/delay getting bits.

Strangely the 10rd magazines aren't avalible in the US at all though so you can get them over here relatively cheaply £38-£40. Most places that sell the gun also sell the mags.

Overpaa/The Shooting Shed on here sometimes has bits and bobs for them so its always worth checking with him first. You can also try Ron Flint (Cactus Arms) and for any generic AR-15 stuff theres a few guys on this side of the pond too

Thanks TBH I think all I need right now is an oversize cocking handle. One other question, are the chokes specific or are they using another manufacturers style/thread?

I honestly don't know. I do know that Benelli M2 and Supernova, and Browning Diamond Plus don't fit in there though

The BR99 take's "WIN Chokes"

The 3 you get with the gun are OK but leave the end of the barrel open to damage. I do a lot of rough shooting.

I fitted a Mandel extended ported choke on mine. Cut it back 1cm past the barrel.

Works a treat, you can get them on gun star.

I am also a new BR99 owner (bought from Shooting Shed, hi guys!)
I would like to get some spare parts also:

1) The hand guard retention nut (with the forward sling loop). I want another one because I intend to cut the loop off it but I don't want to do that to the original part).
2) Oversize charging handle as Smudge asked also. If I can't get a UK supplier I will look around the US when I visit next year.
3) Gas regulator nut and spring.

Another thing I would like to get (and I can't believe my Google-fu has failed, but it has): a long T-handle and 3/8" hex bit to loosen the retaining bolt in the butt-stock. The T-handle or whatever combination of extenders I will need to buy will have to be 20cm minimum length. If anyone can point me to a place to get that I would be grateful...

Try low mill ranges in Cumbria or Ron flint of cactus arms.

Hi Odd Job, I think we have all of the items listed in stock or due in and certainly hold the Gas regulator nut and spring which I doubt anyone else will have. I build my own T handle extensions for the BR99's as those available are usually low quality or parts of a larger set.
