Section 2 ammunition posted to your home?

Is not a legal requirement to lock it away however I do as seems silly not to as I have the room in my ammo safe.

It's not a legal requirement because they'd end up having to arrest a lot of farmers and gamekeepers with 12g birdshot rolling around on their back seats!

How about doing what the law requires rather than going over board and being seen to start a precedent?
