Red Dot for Bora BR99, Best type ?

Looking for the modest priced ?(don`t ask) red dot for the BR99.

Due to the straight stock I think a high based version is better, yes/no?

Any recommendations, and price, would be appreciated.

I'm currently using a Walther PS22 as the mount is spot on for height, but not sure how long it will handle the recoil so may swap it for my Sparc with the riser attached.
PS22 £70-£80

Buy cheap buy twice,folk will try telling you theve had no problems with their ebay red dot,but to my experience the army and cops worldwide don't use ebay sights....

They use the vortex and meopta red dots..meopta from viking arms not sure about vortex..

I used to have a Sightmark Ultrashot QD on mine and it worked fine £70-80 online. You should also think about what reticle pattern you want. Personally i'm not a huge fan of plain dots, even the larger MOA (6+) ones as i find them easy to 'lose'. The EOTech 1/65 MOA dot/circle is my preference for shotguns and the sightmark had a choice of 4 reticles including that one, which is why i bought it. I have since replaced it with an EOTech 516

I would say go for the Vortex SPARC II, at around the GBP145 mark they have to be worth a close look.
